Hiking with children and parents, grandmas and grandpas and everyone who loves our Styria. The rolling hills, the large green meadows and the deep green forests - the nature park is a hiking wonderland for all generations. Our organic farm is located in the middle of the nature park, which is especially dedicated to hikers and nature lovers. Only 10 minutes away, in the hiking village of Mühlen, hiking trails begin to the most beautiful places in the nature park: to the nature park jewels. Our farm offers a direct entry and starting point for beautiful hikes in the nature park.
WALKING TIPS
EASY HIKES WITH CHILDREN
The lakeside hiking trail around the Mühlener Badesee is perfect for a short, varied hike! In just 15 minutes you can be at the shore with the children and leisurely wander around the beautiful lake. Reward the children with an ice cream from the bathing buffet - this increases their motivation!
LAMA HIKING
Once a week we set out on a leisurely hike with our llama. We stop along the way and grill sausages at the campfire. We are happy if you join us with the family!
HANS IM LUCK - HIKING TRAIL
You know the story of Hans in Luck? Take your children on an unforgettable hike into the realm of fairy tales! At Gasthof Gössler or the Hirschenwirt in the beautiful hiking village of Mühlen you will receive a "lump of gold" and a key to get started.
HÖRFELDER MOOR CIRCULAR ROUTE
On the circular trail around the Ramsar site Hörfeld Moor, many stations point out the fauna and flora of the wetland. The Emmi-Antes-Steg makes the Styrian part of the moor accessible and offers insights into this very special habitat.
VIA NATURA - LEARNING TO READ NATURE IN 10 SECTIONS
Learning to read nature, recognising and interpreting the signs of nature, that is what you will learn on the Via Natura , the 126 km long long-distance hiking trail through the nature park. On a total of 10 sections you walk from village to village and learn about topics such as the "biography of the earth" or the "nature of water". You will be surprised!
DISCOVER HIKING TRAILS
Hiking trail no. 6, also called the 6er Weg, offers more of a challenge: it starts directly in the village, goes along the Görtschitzbach stream to the village of See with a picturesque biotope with an island and back via the villages of Kulm and Oberdorf with a beautiful view of our valley and the bathing lake.
